The Gîtes de Wallonie have devised a way to tickle your taste buds by offering you a brand new holiday formula combining accommodation in guest rooms with a cookery course entitled “Marmiton et Polochon”. At a time when television programmes on cooking are hugely popular, this new concept is bang on trend. These culinary events are intended for everyone, whether you are a beginner or a real cordon bleu. So during your stay in our guest rooms, why not take part in preparing the evening meal using local produce, following recipes provided by your hosts. They will be delighted to pass on their favourite dishes and recommendations. Combining usefulness and enjoyment… who could wish for more ?  

Far from a teacher/pupil relationship, the mood is relaxed and friendly. Your host will be there to show you, guide you and help you. Your menu, prepared using local, organic or garden produce, will be unlike any other. And when it’s time to eat, you can sit around a table and enjoy a drink, sharing the meal you have prepared yourself. Gastronomy provides all the ingredients needed to create cheerful atmosphere.
